My son is a total Thomas the Train fanatic, so we painted this mural on his wall. He was absolutely in love with it! What I did was find a picture in a Thomas Activity Book that I liked (and something that showed a few of his favorite trains). I then very painstakingly copied it onto the wall in pencil, and started painting using craft paints. It took FOREVER! Mostly because we had to move to Japan for 6 months when it was only halfway done. But as you can see, it was totally worth it. My son adored it, and all his friends were in awe of what a cool mom he has! ;)

Great Idea. I have two sons, both of them crazy about Thomas.
We already have a Thomas bed, and Thomas running all day round.
I was thinking of a Thomas mural, but this sounds more interesting than paying 250 for a mural.
